Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a strategic Product Lead to drive a new digital platform for a highly regulated industry. You will define the product roadmap, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and coordinate internal and external teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will report to executive leadership and own product scope decisions, working in pharma/life sciences contexts with compliance requirements such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Strong collaboration across partners is essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in product management or product leadership, digital platforms or enterprise software.
• Experience in regulated industries, ideally pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and external partner collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product roadmap with regulatory and technical feasibility considerations.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories for development teams.
• Serve as liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to align scope and timelines.
• Lead scope decisions balancing speed, quality, compliance, and business value.
• Coordinate engineering, quality, compliance, and operations to deliver the platform.
• Ensure features are designed with regulatory compliance (GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) in mind.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product reviews with external teams.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to executive leadership.
• Support validation planning and documentation with quality and compliance leads.
• Champion user-centered development for regulated environments.
