Job summary

PUMA North America, Inc. in Boston is seeking a Senior Financial Business Partner to own the finance partnering for a product category, steering performance via Sales, Profitability, and Cost KPIs throughout the product lifecycle.

You will serve as trusted advisor to management, delivering management-ready narratives, scenario analyses, and data-driven recommendations, while mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement in planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years in financial controlling or financial business partnering in a complex business environment.
• Proven ability to advise senior leadership with data-driven insights.
• Deep expertise in sales, profitability management, and cost steering.
• Excellent executive-facing communication and storytelling skills.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools and planning systems; Oracle HFM / Oracle EPM Planning is a strong asset.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance business partnering for a product category or business area, steering KPIs across lifecycle.
• Provide strategic decision support through reporting, planning, scenario analysis, and recommendations.
• Prepare management-ready narratives and presentations from complex financial data.
• Analyze performance, identify value drivers, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Handle advanced ad-hoc analyses prioritizing impact and actionable recommendations.
• Influence cross-functional teams to shape commercial and operational decisions.
• Own improving controlling methodologies, reporting standards, tools, and planning processes.
• Drive optimization and development of controlling tools and planning systems for insights.
• Mentor junior and mid-level team members.
