Starr Companies is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist in New York to join a centralized Procure-to-Pay team. You will assist in processing purchase orders, evaluate suppliers, and help implement streamlined risk assessment methods.

This role supports compliance reviews and data-driven decision making. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in purchasing, with strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain; 2+ years purchasing experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with data integrity.
• Experience with Workday Finance or similar ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in communicating key internal process enhancements to the team.
• Review purchase requests and input data into ERP systems according to policy.
• Analyze supplier data for errors and assist in corrective actions.
• Support procurement data reporting and share actionable insights.
• Act as a helpdesk resource for end-user PO inquiries and training.
