Job summary

Starr Companies seeks three Procurement staff to join a centralized Procure-to-Pay team. You will manage supplier data, create purchase orders, review contracts for ERP ingestion, and analyze spend to support data-driven decisions in a global insurance environment.

You will train users, support internal stakeholders, ensure data integrity, and help build scalable processes and playbooks. A Bachelor’s degree and Workday Finance experience are preferred; strong Excel and communication skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with Workday Finance or similar ERP preferred.
• 2+ years in a purchasing role preferred.
• Knowledge of GL / AP workflow is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel is a plus.
• Strong data integrity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist on supplier evaluations and PO management.
• Review contracts for ERP ingestion and tracking of performance.
• Analyze procurement data to support business decisions and reporting.
• Support training and provide centralized helpdesk for PO inquiries.
• Develop and refine internal SOPs and playbooks for procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to streamline the purchasing workflow.
