Job summary

Technical Professionals Group is seeking a Buyer/Procurement Analyst to optimize procurement, materials, and supply chain for a leading heavy-duty truck manufacturer in Portland, OR. The role focuses on delivering correct parts at the right place and time while coordinating with the expanding supplier base to keep management informed about orders and deliveries.

You will work with cross-functional teams to understand technology developments, manage supplier performance, and escalate challenges

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant procurement experience.
Strong data analysis and Excel skills.
Ability to communicate and influence decisions with management.
Experience coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with engineering and program management to understand technology developments, design changes and future business decisions within the global supply chain.
Interface with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate communications of specifications.
Ensure suppliers have complete plans to achieve delivery targets and fulfill all order requirements.
Proactively report out 'at risk' parts during truck build status meetings.
Initiate and support continuous process improvements within PVE Procurement.
