Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree in business or procurement and 1 year of experience (or high school diploma with 2–3 years).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; strong organization and documentation.
• Requires valid Tennessee driver's license and state minimum insurance; understanding of purchasing principles.

Responsibilities

• Research and compare suppliers for reliability, quality and cost.
• Establish vendor accounts and ensure Carey’s supplier information is up to date.
• Process purchase orders and coordinate with Accounts Payable or CFO as needed.
• Monitor inventory levels and determine purchase needs with Operations staff.
• Coordinate deliveries and maintain records of transactions and approvals.
• Ensure capital assets are labeled and depreciation data tracked.
