Job summary

Talentify in Allentown, PA is seeking a procurement specialist for a 6-month assignment with potential extension. The role is hybrid (Tuesdays through Thursdays) in the Allentown office and requires at least 3 years of supply chain experience, including ERP/procurement exposure, plus SAP S4HANA expertise and strong Excel skills.

You will be responsible for coordinating procurement requests, supplier negotiations, and ensuring SOX controls compliance, while supporting continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ supply chain experience with ERP, procurement, or work management systems; or equivalent in electric utility industry.
• Proficiency with MS Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Review client procurement requests and convert into purchase orders.
• Coordinate stock re-orders and replenish stock materials based on system reports.
• Solicit bids and prepare recommendations for procurement of materials and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues, expedites orders, and manage invoices.
• Assist with supplier relationship management and SOX compliance activities.
