Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, Maryland seeks a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to source hardware and electronic components for production and IRAD needs. You will manage RFQs/ RFPs, analyze pricing, and collaborate with internal customers to ensure specifications meet requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure commodities such as hardware components, COTS items, and electronic components in support of production and IRAD requirements.
• Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals and analyzes proposed pricing from suppliers.
• Review, reconcile and approve supplier invoices.
• Plan, schedule, and arrange activities to accomplish objectives.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through targeted negotiations.
