Job summary

INEOS Pigments’ Ashtabula, OH facility seeks a Procurement Specialist I to acquire quality supplies and services within defined timeframes and budgets. You will review requisitions, create and expedite POs, issue RFQs, and evaluate suppliers per safety and quality standards.

Qualified candidates have 1–3 years in procurement, strong negotiation skills, experience with SAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Office."

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; BA/BS a plus.
• 1–3 years procurement experience in manufacturing; chemical manufacturing preferred.
• 1–3 years in negotiation, contracts, logistics, procurement, or expediting.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and SAP.
• Ability to define, measure, and solve complex issues under tight time constraints.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiation ability.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Acquire quality supplies and services within specified timeframes and at acceptable costs.
• Review and release purchase requisitions; create/change/expedite purchase orders; prepare and issue RFQs.
• Analyze, evaluate, qualify, and select suppliers following INEOS Pigments procedures and requirements.
