Job summary

ASSA ABLOY’s Hangar Large Applications Doors (HLAD) in Peachtree City, GA is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to lead procurement for raw materials, components, and services critical to manufacturing of large-opening solutions.

The Buyer will manage end-to-end purchasing, use Epicor MRP, coordinate with Production, Engineering, Quality and Sales, and drive inventory turns while pursuing cost reductions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of buyer experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• ERP/MRP system experience with Epicor preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Procure raw materials, parts, equipment, and services for manufacturing throughput.
• Interpret production schedules and generate purchase orders via Epicor MRP.
• Audit and optimize supplier records, planning architecture, and inventory replenishment.
• Engage with Production, Engineering, Accounting, Quality, and Sales to align BOMs and costs.
• Lead lean sourcing initiatives to reduce obsolete materials and improve cash flow.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and monitor performance against KPIs.
