Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Buyer to oversee strategic and tactical procurement of raw materials, parts, and services. The role coordinates with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and finance to align sourcing with schedules and cost goals.

You will utilize Epicor MRP, drive supplier development, and maintain healthy inventory turns while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of buyer experience handling technical items, custom configurations, and low-volume long-lead supplier bases.
• Understanding of extended global supply chains, international trade regulations, logistics networks, and tariff management.
• ERP/MRP database proficiency; Epicor exposure is advantageous; strong Excel data skills.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and procurement of raw materials, parts, equipment, and services for manufacturing throughput.
• Use Epicor MRP to interpret production schedules and manage POs while balancing stock and turns.
• Audit and optimize planning, supplier records, and inventory replenishment in Epicor.
