Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Staff Procurement Specialist to support planning, procurement of products, materials, and services. You will manage scheduling, forecast needs, and maintain crucial ERP configurations to meet Alphazyme’s evolving business needs, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in procurement, strong interpersonal skills, and experience in budgeting and KPI-driven supply chain environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in planning/procurement in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite) and MS Office.
• Experience with budgets, production scheduling and procurement.
• CPIM/APICS certification a plus.
• Familiarity with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Procure products, materials, and services to support operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose vendor alternatives.
• Track orders, maintain records, and verify receipts.
• Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
• Configure NetSuite ERP for efficiency and processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with needs.
• Monitor procurement expenses and report insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality, and safety standards.
