• Two years purchasing experience with a project management background.
• Able to research and negotiate prices with suppliers.

• Ability to interface with various internal departments and business units at all company levels.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Purchase items per department using the Purchase Order with proper authorization.
• Update/confirm system lead times, delivery dates, and pricing.
• Ensure orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; report non-conformances.
• Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality and availability.
• Study purchase history and forecast, inventory levels and replenishment cycles.
• Procurement of items specified by other departments using the Purchase Order with proper authorization.
• Follow up to ensure goods/services are delivered on time, as promised.
• Lead escalation shortages with suppliers and drive resolution with or without AA support.
