Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree with five years procurement experience, or a bachelor’s degree with two years procurement experience.
• Working knowledge of contracts, Florida statutes, purchasing policies, and procurement ethics.
• Experience with bid processes and contract negotiations in public procurement.
• Experience processing ITBs, RFPs, ITNs, RFIs and related solicitations.

Responsibilities

• Generate, analyze, and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders; manage procurement documents and ITN/RFP activities.
• Develop detailed bid specifications and evaluate responses to ensure best value; manage vendor communications and contracts.
• Award purchase orders, oversee delivery; meet with vendors and collaborate with departments to fulfill procurement needs.
