Job summary

PBF Energy Inc. is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join the Toledo Refinery team in Oregon, OH. The role focuses on sourcing, contracting, supplier performance management, and strategic procurement activities across refinery operations.

The position requires 5+ years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on experience with SAP MM, Ariba, and SAP Plant Maintenance. On-site role, five days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent procurement work experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in procurement or supply chain preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
• Ability to communicate clearly at all levels and with suppliers.
• Negotiation skills and experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with SAP Materials Management and Ariba.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage the contract process in compliance with refinery and corporate policies.
• Negotiate terms, conditions, and rates with contractors to secure favorable agreements.
• Develop and execute competitive sourcing events; evaluate proposals and award decisions.
• Lead sourcing and contracting for complex services, products, equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with local and global teams to gather information and define contract requirements.
• Monitor and maintain contracts for timely initiation, renewal, extension or termination.
• Create and maintain contracts and purchase orders in SAP and Ariba.
• Provide guidance on contract policies and train refinery and corporate personnel.
• Benchmark industry practices and lead cost-saving initiatives.
