Job summary

Brightmark is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist with deep experience in engineered equipment, services, and maintenance for heavy industry operations. You will secure high-quality inputs, manage supplier relationships, and optimize costs to sustain refinery performance.

In this role you will collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams, negotiate favorable contracts, monitor supplier risk, and maintain compliant procurement records to support reliable operations at scale.

Qualifications

• 10 years of procurement experience in engineered equipment and services for heavy industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to procure equipment, materials, and services used in the refinery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Work with engineering and maintenance teams to understand equipment specifications and ensure purchases meet technical requirements.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or compliance; analyze market trends and pricing to optimize procurement strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels, track procurement status, and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain stock levels.
• Prepare, review, and manage contracts and purchase orders to ensure legal and company compliance.
• Proactively identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid disruptions in refinery operations.
• Maintain procurement records, prepare reports on purchasing activities, and analyze data for decision-making.
• Other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical knowledge, strategic sourcing expertise, and strong negotiation skills to ensure the timely acquisition of high-quality equipment, materials, and services at competitive prices. You will play a critical role in supporting refinery operations by maintaining an efficient and cost-effective supply chain.
