L3Harris Technologies, a leading defense technology company, seeks a Specialist in Procurement for its Melbourne, Florida location. The role entails end-to-end procurement, supplier management, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a dynamic, regulated environment.

The candidate will negotiate pricing and contracts, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 6+ years related experience; graduate degree with 4+ years; or 10+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• 8 years’ experience in Procurement and/or Subcontracts; experience in Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Contracts, Procurement, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Compliance, Legal and Government compliance, and/or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end procurement lifecycle including strategic sourcing, bids, price/contract negotiations, contract execution and supplier performance management.
• Leads negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations to maximize value.
• Develops and maintains strategic supplier relationships and partnerships for supply chain stability and improvement.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, FAR/DFAR, ITAR, and other regulations; identifies non-compliance areas.
• Monitors supply chain performance using metrics and KPIs; drives cost savings and schedule adherence.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
• Cultivates internal customer relationships and maintains collaboration with program teams.
• Experience presenting procurement strategies, risk assessments, and program updates to senior leadership.
