Raymond West in the United States is seeking a Buyer to join the Systems Team as a professional career track role. You will manage procurement of goods and services, negotiate terms, and build supplier relationships to secure value while supporting production needs.

This role requires independent judgment, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to work across finance, operations, and other departments. Travel up to 20% and ongoing process improvements are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering.
• 3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues such as delays or quality concerns.
• Use systems to manage requisitions and generate purchasing reports.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with financial and operational goals.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers and draft contracts.
• Maintain supplier databases and conduct supplier evaluations.
