Switchback Medical is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement process, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• 1+ years of experience as a Purchasing Specialist or similar procurement role.
• Solid understanding of procurement principles, practices and procedures.
• Proficient with ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Manage procurement process end-to-end from needs identification to purchase order issuance.
• Source and evaluate potential suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate terms and pricing.
• Monitor and track purchase orders for timely delivery and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to develop procurement plans and ensure policy compliance.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers in coordination with legal.
• Maintain vendor documentation and evaluate supplier performance.
• Support inventory planning and coordinate with finance to minimize shrinkage.
