Job summary

Massachusetts Financial Services Company is seeking a procurement professional to partner with internal teams, analyze supplier bids, and manage procurement programs. You will negotiate pricing, coordinate POs, and drive supplier relations while supporting PeopleSoft eProcurement.

The role requires 2–5+ years of related experience, a strong eye for detail, and proficiency with Excel and SharePoint. This is a hybrid, full-time position in the Boston area with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of related work experience.
• Demonstrate ability to manage high-volume workload and complex priorities.
• Action oriented with superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, customer service, problem solving and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Excel and SharePoint; PeopleSoft experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews purchase requests for completeness and proper authorizations prior to creating and issuing Purchase Orders to Suppliers.
• Works with business to understand requirements, determine appropriate vendor, obtain bids and provide analysis.
• Negotiates pricing and terms with Suppliers.
• Manages the daily operation of Procurement programs, e.g., Procurement Card Program or Office Supply Program.
• Is responsible for special projects or analysis.
• Establishes and maintains Supplier relations. Identifies issues and works with Suppliers to resolve problems that arise.
• Provides training and support for our Peoplesoft eProcurement application.
