Job summary

A global leader in optical fiber solutions is seeking a Buyer to join their Norcross, GA team. This role involves primary procurement responsibilities for various operations and materials. Ideal candidates should have a BS/BA degree in a related field and 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role within a manufacturing setting. The position requires strong skills in supplier management, negotiation, and materials management, along with familiarity in using SAP and Microsoft products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years in a Procurement role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge and experience in materials management, procurement, and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Assume primary procurement responsibility for Draw, Post Draw & VAD operations.
• Work with Operations to procure hard-to-find spare parts.
• Track and report Cost Savings and Variable Expense goals.
