Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Category Manager for Structural Components to lead sourcing for trackers, foundations, steel components, and construction equipment across solar, HV, and BESS projects. You’ll shape category strategy, analyze total cost of ownership, and optimize supplier relationships.

In collaboration with Engineering, Construction Operations, Fleet, and Finance, you’ll negotiate master agreements, monitor market trends, and ensure equipment availability to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Experience sourcing structural commodities, construction materials, or capital equipment.
• Track record in complex supplier negotiations and agreements.
• Experience working in utility-scale solar, EPC, or industrial sectors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for structural components and construction equipment.
• Lead supplier market analysis, benchmarking, and risk management.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties, and service agreements.
• Lead QBRs and executive supplier meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Manage procurement contracts and fleet/equipment lifecycle considerations.
