Job summary

Staff-Up, LLC is seeking a full-time procurement Manager to lead sourcing and purchasing strategies for raw materials and services while overseeing the Purchasing team. The role requires strong leadership and deep experience in procurement to drive cost savings and supplier excellence.

Reporting to the leadership team, you will manage a two-person purchasing staff, optimize inventory planning, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, and Accounting to resolve pricing and contract issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience; government contracting a plus.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• CPSM, CPPM or similar procurement certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationship management.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize value and profitability.
• Manage and develop a team of purchasing professionals through coaching, performance management, and training.
• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and sales data to improve forecasting, pricing, and inventory levels.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, and risk, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Develop and improve procurement policies, procedures, and reporting, including MRP processes.
• Lead RFPs and evaluate new suppliers and business opportunities.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Sales, Accounting, and other departments to resolve purchasing, pricing, and invoice issues.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service levels.
• Support additional procurement and operational initiatives as needed.
