Chefman is seeking a highly driven Procurement Manager to lead negotiations with China-based vendors and optimize supplier relationships, driving meaningful year-over-year cost savings. The role requires detailed data analysis, strategic sourcing, and close collaboration with engineering to understand components.

Around 25% travel to China is required to manage supplier relationships on the ground and lead supplier initiatives directly with local vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating supplier contracts.
• Ability to onboard new suppliers independently.
• Strong procurement, logistics, and inventory knowledge.
• Experience with supplier audits and production trials.
• Background in electrical appliances or consumer products.
• Advanced Excel with cost modeling.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel to China ~25%.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize supply and maximize value.
• Lead supplier negotiations and manage commercial agreements for China-based vendors.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Manage procurement for long-term freight and shipping arrangements.
• Own sourcing strategies for CapEx across warehousing facilities and equipment.
• Lead supplier onboarding processes including audits and trials.
• Anticipate and mitigate sourcing barriers and spend variances.
• Develop negotiation scopes and executive summaries for initiatives.
• Negotiate renewals of software and service agreements to reduce fragmentation.
• Attend trade shows to identify emerging suppliers and technologies.
• Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities across procurement.
