Job summary

TLD, a leading Ground Support Equipment manufacturer, seeks a Procurement Manager to oversee purchases and supplier performance, ensuring quality and timely delivery. You will supervise buyers and clerical staff to maintain efficient operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration or equivalent, with strong MRP system experience and excellent communication skills. This full-time role supports our global aerospace leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in managing material procurement and supplier evaluation.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer skills: extensive MRP system experience and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the procurement of materials, components and supplies, ensuring price value and stability, consistent quality, and expeditious delivery.
• Research and develop competent suppliers by overseeing bids, proposals, or other information requests; evaluate requested materials.
• Represent the department at planning and other regular management meetings to resolve engineering, production, and technical problems.
• Review and evaluate relations with existing suppliers; maintain a rating system for supplier evaluation.
• Participate in long-range strategic objectives; collaborate with other departments on future operational changes.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all materials by ensuring correct MRPltransactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
