Kirby Corporation is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Specialist to source, purchase, and coordinate materials and equipment for IPS operations. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and ensure timely, cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods.

The role requires strong analysis, organization, and communication skills to support inventory accuracy and operational efficiency across ERP systems. Office/industrial setting with occasional travel may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Associate degree in supply chain, business administration, logistics, or related field.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, logistics, or inventory management.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials, equipment, and services meeting cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Obtain supplier quotes, maintain vendor relationships, assist in pricing negotiations.
• Create and maintain purchase orders; resolve discrepancies and keep procurement records.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments; track deliveries with carriers and logistics providers.
• Monitor inventory levels; support accuracy and replenishment activities.
• Collaborate with operations, warehouse, and service teams to ensure material availability.
• Maintain data and reporting within ERP and inventory systems.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
