Job summary

Solaris Paper Inc. is seeking a senior procurement leader to oversee purchasing across three plants in the United States, driving strategy, supplier performance, and cost optimization.

You will lead a team of four, work with Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality, and report to Global Procurement leadership. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in procurement within manufacturing, strong negotiation and contract skills, and experience across direct and indirect spend in a matrix, multi-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in leadership managing procurement teams and strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, or CIPS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies across direct and indirect spend.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFx, negotiations, and contract management.
• Manage supplier relationships with governance, scorecards, and reviews.
• Drive cost savings, value engineering, and total cost of ownership improvements.
• Develop risk mitigation and supplier resilience plans.
• Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Finance, and Quality across sites.
• Lead procurement governance, qualification, and contract administration.
• Build and mentor a high-performing procurement team across sites.
• Utilize analytics and market intelligence to improve decisions.
