Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years of business, procurement and/or contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and assists TDEC divisions in solicitation specifications based on internal and external sources of information
• Possesses and demonstrates strong knowledge of policies, procedures and execution strategy for multiple solicitation methods including RFP, RFQ, and RFI
• Regularly represents TDEC and the division of Grants and Contracts while speaking with internal and external stakeholders
• Provides strategic advice and consultation to agency procurement and program staff to determine the proper methods of procurement as well as strategy development and execution of procurement activities
