Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in a cGMP regulated pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies by leading the purchasing team.
• Lead competitive bid process according to corporate policy.
• Lead supplier negotiations.
• Assist Supply Chain Director with ad hoc projects.
• Purchase inventory, consumables, and services according to company policies.
• Ensure best value is received on all purchases.
• Communicate with vendors for availability, ordering, price negotiation.
• Ensure facility needs are purchased to minimize downtime.
