Job summary

Jacuzzi in Streamwood, IL, seeks a Sr. Purchasing Agent to lead multi-commodity procurement and supplier relationships, ensuring the timely availability of materials for manufacturing operations.

You will create and manage purchase orders in LN-Infor, monitor inventory and lead times, pursue cost savings, and collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality and Finance to resolve issues and optimize stock levels. A Bachelor's degree and five years of purchasing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred.
• Five years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proven cost savings and supplier-performance improvements.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers, commodities, and POs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel; Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with LN-Infor ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals and forecasts.
• Manage purchasing activities for multiple commodities and suppliers; create POs in LN-Infor.
• Monitor material requirements and supplier commitments to meet schedules.
• Analyze purchasing, inventory, and planning reports to support decisions.
• Maintain supplier relationships addressing delivery, pricing, and quality.
• Identify cost savings and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and adhere to policies.
