Job summary

Keeley Companies in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Sr. Procurement Specialist to join our corporate Procurement Team.

You will create, issue, and track purchase orders and subcontracts for materials and services, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues with project and field teams. The ideal candidate has an associates or bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field, 3+ years in purchasing or materials management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft

Qualifications

• Associates or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in purchasing, service coordination, or materials management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software

Responsibilities

• Create, issue, and track purchase orders and subcontracts for materials and services.
• Track shipments, confirm receipt of goods, and resolve delivery issues in collaboration with project and field teams.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors on pricing, delivery timelines, and backorders; maintain positive, professional relationships.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, subcontracts, buyout logs, and vendor data within CMiC.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, conceptualize, solve problems, make decisions, and remain accountable.
• Review vendor performance, to ensure compliance and manage performance improvement activities. Assist operations and Procurement Director with vendor scorecards.
• Coordinate with Procurement Director to negotiate subcontracts and review terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and terms.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information.
• Assist Procurement Director with testing and implementation of new company software.
