Job summary

The Wonderful Company LLC is seeking a Strategic Procurement Lead in Bend, Oregon to strengthen supply chain and logistics for new products and existing lines. This onsite role blends strategic thinking with day-to-day problem solving and requires cross-functional collaboration.

You will manage supplier selection, risk mitigation, and ERP-driven processes, partnering with Product Design, Engineering, and Production to ensure material availability and cost controls while maintaining high quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing or related fields.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics D365.
• Ability to solve problems while mitigating risks to resources and deadlines.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Ability to work with external parties to generate positive outcomes.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing for new products and risk mitigation with suppliers.
• Identify and assess candidate suppliers for materials, components and services.
• Prepare and evaluate RFPs and RFQs; make supplier recommendations.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials within spec.
• Track vendor performance and drive improvement plans.
• Negotiate terms and resolve issues with suppliers.
• Improve production purchasing and logistics.
• Coordinate material purchases with Demand Planning and Production.
