Job summary

Talent Reel is seeking a Buyer to manage procurement and supplier relationships for two sites in the United States, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and integrating legacy processes into the Aspen Surgical system. This role focuses on forecast-driven purchasing, cost optimization, and standardized workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years purchasing experience and 1–2 years contracting experience.
• ERP/MRP system proficiency and data analysis skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Familiarity with total cost analysis concepts.
• Experience with Lean Material Flow manufacturing is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment; M&A integration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement and supplier relationships for two sites.
• Support Director of Strategic Sourcing in integrating legacy processes into Aspen Surgical systems.
• Drive cost savings through data-driven purchasing and process standardization.
• Execute purchase orders aligned with forecasts and planning parameters.
• Maintain accurate master data including lead times and pricing.
• Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and contract alignment.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain Approved Supplier List.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations and business ethics.
