Job summary

Web Industries is seeking a Senior Buyer in Suwanee, GA to lead procurement of goods and services, ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets. This role collaborates with internal teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory while reducing risk.

You will analyze market trends, drive cost-saving opportunities, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, vendor management, and strategic sourcing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business and 5–10 years of procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with automated inventory control and MRP systems (SAP or similar).
• Strong Excel and Word skills; ERP familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure raw materials and indirect consumables are available for production and processing of POs.
• Manage supplier relationships and communications to build partnerships.
• Assess and mitigate risk; maintain continuity plans for materials.
• Analyze supplier cost, quality, and delivery to identify improvements.
• Support new product development programs and inventory control.
• Assist Finance and Shipping with invoice issues.
