Job summary

H&M is seeking a Procurement Specialist to oversee end-to-end procurement for parts, equipment, and maintenance supplies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Corporate Procurement to ensure material availability and cost-effective sourcing.

The role emphasizes supplier evaluation, RFQ initiation, PO management, and inventory accuracy using Maximo and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, purchasing, or materials management in a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for parts, equipment, maintenance supplies, services, and operational materials.
• Coordinate with Corporate Procurement to leverage AIM-wide contracts and negotiated pricing.
• Identify requirements and initiate RFQs based on needs and inventory replenishment.
• Ensure a competitive sourcing process per AIM procurement policies.
• Evaluate supplier quotations on price, quality, lead time, service, and payment terms.
• Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Track and expedite deliveries to prevent downtime.
• Coordinate PO logistics, stock transfers, deliveries, tagging, and receiving.
• Process and document vendor returns.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities.
