Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience in warehouse operations or inventory management preferred.
• At least 2 years training in computer data entry and Microsoft Office; government or large organization warehousing experience is a plus.
• Must pass Level II Criminal History check.

Responsibilities

• Research suppliers and obtain quotes and proposals.
• Issue purchase orders for the General Building and Procurement Department.
• Coordinate deliveries and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and compliance with PO terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and perform cycle counts, spot counts, and full audits.
• Communicate with vendors and city staff to resolve acquisition issues and optimize purchasing.
