Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX seeks an Associate Director of Finance to lead procurement finance efforts and influence strategic sourcing and capital investments. This role sits at the intersection of procurement and finance, driving negotiation support, business case development, and financial commitments across the supply chain.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, build high‑performing teams, and communicate with executives to influence outcomes in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience supporting supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to travel >50% to support critical initiatives.
• Experience with financial modeling, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Executive communication experience, including PowerPoint creation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Finance input to supplier negotiations, in preparation and active negotiation.
• Coordinate across SBU and Functional Finance to align procurement and Raytheon commitments.
• Develop robust processes for material PV tracking, CER pool management, KPI tracking.
• Conduct constraint analyses to support investment initiatives and material availability.
• Act as a catalyst for data-driven decision making.
• Responsible for both direct and indirect CER pools.
