Job summary

Bosch Home Comfort in Norman, OK, seeks a Procurement Engineer- Light Commercial HVAC to source materials for engineering and manufacturing projects, collaborating with engineering, operations and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.

You will develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, support VA/VE, and ensure compliance with quality standards while driving cost savings and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related technical area.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in procurement or related discipline.
• Ability to gather, relate and summarize information into logical conclusions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers and suppliers.
• Solid project management skills to facilitate project/program compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, planning, administration and team skills.
• Familiarity with SAP and advanced computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source, purchase, and manage materials and services for engineering and manufacturing projects.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for engineering direct materials components.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery and capability.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and production teams to support new product development.
• Ensure timely procurement to meet targets, quality, cost, schedules and timelines.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and other quality requirements and sourcing processes.
