Job summary

Responsibilities include negotiating terms, evaluating BOMs and specs, qualifying suppliers, conducting on-site assessments, and leading projects from concept to savings.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Business, Mechanical Engineering, or 5-7 years in Purchasing or Materials Management.
• Knowledge in materials management and manufacturing processes.
• Professional level PC and ERP skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate cost, quality, delivery and capacity with suppliers.
• Audit and qualify suppliers and implement long-term purchasing agreements.
• Assess supplier capabilities, conduct on-site evaluations and ensure ethical relationships.
• Manage projects from concept to savings with milestone tracking.
