Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; seven years of professional business or public administration experience including four years in a supervisory/administrative capacity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Certified Procurement Officer (CPO) within two weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and execute procurement strategy aligned with agency goals; lead the procurement team for continuous improvement.
• Contract Management: Develop and manage procurement contracts with compliant terms to protect the agency’s interests.
• Compliance and Ethics: Ensure procurement practices meet laws, regulations, and ethical standards; implement code of conduct for staff and suppliers.
