Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of purchasing, procurement, or contract management experience and three (3) years of progressive experience in formal solicitation methods.
• Two (2) years of supervisory or team lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages the daily operations of procurement teams to obtain goods and services using cost-effective methods in accordance with laws and policies.
• Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of staff to ensure timely procurement and compliance.
• Drafts competitive specifications for commodities and services and develops schedules and standards to meet goals.
• Oversees staff development, performance, and purchasing activities and ensures timely completion of work.
