Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a procurement specialist to optimize spare parts and components purchasing, driving down downtime and costs. You will manage pricing agreements, coordinate with IT for system improvements, and support cross-functional teams across NA plants.

The role requires 3+ years in technical procurement, strong MS Office skills, and willingness to travel to customer sites and plants. This is an on-site position based in Novi, MI, with opportunities to contribute to strategic sourcing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of technical procurement experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Self-motivated, team player, able to negotiate and lead/encourage teammates and suppliers.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Support spare parts procurement to minimize downtime and costs.
• Lead world-class pricing agreements for key components/spares.
• Support continuous improvement, changes to software/systems, and prepare reports to track KPIs.
• Collaborate with system/IT to drive improvements/efficiency.
• Support procurement projects and plant operations as directed by procurement management.
• Assist NA plant operations during downtime events and track savings from inventory and parts purchases.
