Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Buyer (P-Card Holder) in Charleston, SC to plan, source, purchase, and expedite COTS materials for O&M projects. You will interface with Operations, Accounting, and Subcontracts to ensure policy compliance and audit readiness, while supporting rapid procurement actions with P-Card authority.

Responsibilities include vendor management, documentation, and cost control, balancing timely delivery with compliance and contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field preferred; associates with relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience supporting O&M facilities maintenance, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or government contracts preferred.
• Experience with procurement software, Agiloft and digital documentation tools.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Office Suite.
• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS procurement principles.
• Prior experience with P-Card administration or oversight.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehousing operations, or material management.
• Experience with CMMS platforms such as WebTMA, Maximo, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Procurement administration: review requests for completeness and approvals; source and qualify vendors; obtain quotations; negotiate terms.
• P-Card purchasing & administration: administer procurement activities with P-Card; ensure compliance; maintain documentation.
• Vendor management: build relationships; evaluate performance; onboard suppliers; resolve issues.
• Project support: assist with emergency procurement, long-lead items, and time-sensitive deliveries.
• Documentation & compliance: maintain audit-ready procurement files; ensure workflow and segregation of duties.
• Cost control & strategic sourcing: monitor spending, identify savings, support budgeting and spend analysis.
