Job summary

Henderson Products, a division of Douglas Dynamics, is seeking a Buyer to purchase for six USCs (Upfit and Service Center) related to direct material within a lean/JIT framework.

You will streamline the supply chain from order to delivery, prepare RFP/RFQ documents, and drive continuous cost and margin improvements while ensuring supplier performance and compliance. Travel may be required; a collaborative team environment and competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree in procurement, supply chain management, industrial management, business administration or equivalent preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office software, material requisition systems and MRP/ERP systems.
• Ability to analyze spend, quality and supplier performance data.

Responsibilities

• Purchase for all six USCs (Upfit and Service Center) related to direct material.
• Streamline the supply chain from order to delivery and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare RFP/RFQ documents and drive continuous improvement of cost and margin.
