Job summary

Overhead Door Company of Albuquerque, a DH Pace Company, Inc., is seeking a Buyer to secure materials for projects, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery with cost efficiency. The role emphasizes supplier management, pricing consistency, and collaboration with corporate procurement to optimize cash flow.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with ERP familiarity and strong written/oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or up to 1 year related experience and/or training
• Experience with ERP or equivalent system preferred
• Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, learn and interpret instructions

Responsibilities

• Timely ordering, researching, and releasing materials and supplies for projects
• Monitor and analyze inventory; perform cycle counts and audits
• Review open POs, shortage reports, planned order reports and price variances
• Negotiate favorable payment terms with vendors and maintain pricing consistency
• Collaborate with accounts payable to capture early payment discounts
• Ensure data accuracy and coordinate with admin staff to reduce costs
