Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ year of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Lilly will not sponsor work visas.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage procurement strategies for assigned categories, including market analysis, supplier identification, and risk mitigation.
• Lead the sourcing process from RFP to contract negotiation and execution with favorable terms.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across R&D, manufacturing, legal, and finance to align procurement with business needs.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and process optimization.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and regulatory requirements in procurement activities.
• Manage supplier contracts, renewals, amendments, and performance monitoring.
• Utilize procurement analytics to track KPIs and provide leadership insights.
• Stay updated on procurement best practices, market trends, and new technologies.
