Job summary

MobileSentrix is seeking an experienced Procurement Analyst in Manassas, VA to support purchasing, inventory planning, and supply chain operations. You will analyze demand, forecast needs, plan inventory, and work with vendors to ensure product availability.

The role requires 5+ years in forecasting, demand planning, procurement, vendor management, and reporting, with preference for wireless, mobile device, consumer electronics, or repair parts experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in procurement and supply chain analysis.
• 5+ years in demand forecasting and planning.
• 5+ years in purchasing and inventory planning.
• 5+ years in vendor communication and management.
• Experience supporting new product launches and inventory planning.
• Experience creating procurement, forecasting, and business reports.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and lead times.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel (PivotTables, lookups, data analysis) and large datasets.
• Experience with ERP, purchasing, inventory management, or demand planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting & Demand Planning: develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning: analyze sales velocity and inventory trends to determine future requirements.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning: identify shortages and overstock before they occur.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning: recommend quantities and timing based on demand and lead times.
• Forecasting & Demand Planning: measure forecast accuracy and improve methods.
• Procurement & Inventory Planning: analyze inventory levels across a large catalog.
• Procurement & Inventory Planning: determine replenishment quantities and reorder timing.
• Procurement & Inventory Planning: monitor lead times, minimum orders, and availability.
• New Product Launch Planning: develop demand and inventory plans for new products.
• New Product Launch Planning: coordinate with vendors to ensure inventory ahead of launches.
• Reporting & Analysis: create procurement, inventory, forecasting, and vendor reports.
