Job summary

3M is seeking a Procurement Analyst to collaborate with 3Mers worldwide and contribute to sourcing strategy, process improvements, and team mentorship. The role emphasizes independent work, data analysis, and influencing decisions to enhance operational effectiveness across multiple groups.

At least a bachelor’s degree and 3 years in procurement or supply chain are required, with on-site work at the Maplewood, MN location and up to 10% travel. Relocation is not authorized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed and verified prior to start.
• Three (3) years of supply chain and/or procurement experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Interpersonal skills and strong prioritization.
• Analytical skills and ability to influence.

Responsibilities

• Work independently to achieve goals using established processes and tools and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to team members and help coordinate project activities and priorities.
• Solve complex sourcing challenges, analyze data and trends, and develop effective solutions to non-routine issues.
• Influence team success by providing direction and recommendations that support operational effectiveness across multiple groups.
