Job summary

Bocar US in Tanner, Alabama (On-Site) is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to manage indirect purchasing, support supplier relationships, and drive cost savings within a world-class manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include processing requisitions, evaluating supplier quotes, creating POs, tracking savings, and ensuring compliance with purchasing policies. Requires a 2+ year background in purchasing, SAP and Excel proficiency, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel; preferred Power BI experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and process plant purchasing requisitions and purchasing group assignments.
• Obtain supplier quotes, evaluate pricing, delivery terms, and terms for best value.
• Create and manage purchase orders in compliance with policies.
• Track monthly purchasing savings and cost reduction initiatives.
• Support supplier contracts and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth procurement.
• Assist with supplier setup, data maintenance, and master data in systems.
