International SOS is seeking a Privacy Director for Government Services in the US to lead privacy governance, risk mitigation and regulatory compliance across products and processes. The role requires hands-on, pragmatic privacy expertise with technical knowledge.

You will coordinate with Legal, Information Security, Contracts and Government Program leadership to ensure timely breach notifications, DPIAs, RoPA, and vendor risk management across the organisation.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3 years in data privacy roles with DPIAs, cross-border transfers, and breach handling.
• Experience ensuring GDPR, HIPAA, state laws, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to balance risk with business needs and drive pragmatic outcomes.
• Experience with privacy by design and collaboration with IT and Security teams.

Aufgaben

• Oversee privacy risk mitigation across products, services, and processes.
• Oversee privacy processes using central platforms (e.g., OneTrust) and ensure compliance.
• Lead incident response, coordinate with Legal, InfoSec, and government programs.
• Drive RoPA, DPIAs, and other critical assessments.
• Assist third‑party risk management and vendor compliance.
• Provide status reports to senior leadership on the privacy programme.
• Guide data management practices and Data Subject Rights processing.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.
• Advise on vendor contracts to enforce privacy requirements.
• Support AI governance and risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions.
